I have a decade of experience in business development, previously leading external marketing, sales, and partnership functions at a ~20 person professional services firm in the field of technical and tax services, based in Calgary, Alberta.

Our clientele ranged from start-ups to large, multinational energy companies, and our partners ranged from other professional service firms to industry associations, non-profits, and government. However our most important partners were our clients; they were innovators and leaders in their sectors.

During my tenure with the firm, I led efforts to double the number of clients, which resulted in a 50% increase in our company’s headcount, driving profitability and top-line revenue. I also spearheaded a rebrand of the firm, under a new name and visual identity, to increase our visibility in the marketplace.

Prior to working in professional services, I worked with a multinational energy company in a government relations capacity. Using my background in economics, I helped leadership understand the impact of proposed policy and regulatory changes on the business and operations.

One through-line of my career is genuinely connecting with people and learning about what’s important to them. I can’t wait to dive in and see how we might work together.
